AI vs Boolean vs Filter searches explained

Hirefast has support for two types of search currently. The Ai search allows you to use natural language to filter candidates. It is a very straightforward and convenient approach.

The AI search allows you to save time and forgo the tedious booleans and conditional statements:





The Boolean search is a more fine grained approach that allows you to search using conditionals and boolean strings. Our Syntax is a little different than what you may be used to, however.


Currently the supported conditionals are Technologies, Proximity, and City. AND and OR operators are also supported.





Creating your own search strings not your thing? Try our filters to search for a pool of candidates that meet your requirements. Specify city, technologies, skills - Nice to Have or Must have. We are constantly working on adding more filters.
